Wood effect tiles in shabby chic style
The wood-effect tiles Decapè by Ceramica Rondine resume the classic texture of oak simulating with a faux pickling treatment. The pickled treatment is a technique which was originated in the 18th century in France and that creates a shabby chic effect.
Formats and installation
The attention in the research phase to eliminate knots and structural roughness, led to the creation of an extremely elegant “soft“ ceramic. Available in 20x120 rectified format, it is also perfectly suitable to be installed on walls for country or modern bathrooms. In this regard, we should not underestimate the use of the beautiful Chevron, which is able to superbly furnish portions of walls or floors.
Colors and finishes
As this technique achieves the best results on light colors, we decided to offer light oak wood effect (Blanc and Natural) porcelain tile, which satisfies both those who are looking for shabby chic solutions and those who are more keen on pickled finishes.
In addition to the natural coordination between the floor and wall within the same series, Decapè can be easily combined with Cementina tiles, to enhance even more the shabby look of the collection.
